All Natural.

We pride ourselves in the care and keep of our cattle ensuring the process is ethical from beginning to end. Since care and quality is so important in our production we have used an all natural program since the beginning and continue to carry that same program out today.

local.

Once our home calfs are born, weaned, then divided into different groups, we ultrasound them and hand select them for our NC Beef & Seafood Market. The ultrasound we perform on the cattle is the same procedure doctors perform on pregnant women. The ultrasounds allow us to gauge where the cow is at in grading and determine which ones will become prime by the time they are fully developed. They then will be on luscious green pastures to graze and will be moved onto oats in the winter months for more protein. We will then transition our cattle to a corn based feed diet for 120 days.

fresh.

At the end of the 120 days, we gently load the cattle onto our trailer and transport them to Ft.Mccoy , FL, where our cattle will be separated for hamburger, steaks, and other cuts. Because ft.mccoy allows the meat to mature for fourteen days, our beef has increased flavor and tenderness. Once the maturing process is complete, the meat it is divided into different sections, packaged, and delivered back to NC Beef & Seafood Market here in Newberry. To guarantee the highest quality and freshness for our customers, we bring a certain amount of our cattle every week to keep our store stocked with the best product. We have worked toward the goal of serving our community with high quality beef for over 20 years and will strive to continue to uphold our standards and values.
